In Star Wars Obi-wan is represented as a father figure to Luke. He comforts him, trains him, but ultimately leaves Luke feeling alone in a strange place with people he barely knows. I sought to reimagine their relationship as if Obi-wan had been a true father figure. Not in the sense of the movie but rather in a modern family.


By combining stock images which always seem to depict the cheesiest versions of everyday activities I wanted to show a humorous alternate version of the events of the movie. By melding the images without blending them particularly well the humor of some of the images is plain and takes an almost meme-like form.



Ultimately, I was not trying to make any statement with my art but rather just searching to make people laugh. While some of them are is just plain funny there are subtle references to each piece that stretch what was depicted in the movies.
